鄭展鵬教授指導之學生團隊在國際比賽openBIM Awards 2024獲頒「學生研究」組別大獎
由土木及環境工程學系副系主任及教授鄭展鵬教授帶領的學生隊伍，憑藉在建築資產行業中應用建築信息模擬（openBIM）的卓越表現，在buildingSMART International（bSI）舉辦的openBIM Awards 2024國際比賽中榮獲學生研究組別大獎。
隊伍成員包括土木工程學博士生徐雨晴、拱興博和伍兆基，及博士畢業生郭凱羚，得獎項目為「CarbonSmart：使用openBIM、openGIS和區塊鏈在整個施工生命週期中進行基於知識圖譜的自動化碳評估和追蹤」。獎項於2024年10月3日在摩洛哥馬拉喀什舉行的bSI高峰會暨CIB W78會議的晚宴上頒發。
今年，主辦機構bSI收到超過160個來自世界各地大學及機構的提案，篩選出22支入圍隊伍，最後有9支隊伍在各自的專項組別獲頒大獎。香港取得破紀錄的佳績，包括有五支隊伍入圍，其中三支隊伍（香港科技大學、協興工程有限公司及香港政府機電工程署）獲頒大獎。
