郑展鹏教授指导之学生团队在国际比赛openBIM Awards 2024获颁「学生研究」组别大奖
由土木及环境工程学系副系主任及教授郑展鹏教授带领的学生队伍，凭藉在建筑资产行业中应用建筑信息模拟（openBIM）的卓越表现，在buildingSMART International（bSI）举办的openBIM Awards 2024国际比赛中荣获学生研究组别大奖。
队伍成员包括土木工程学博士生徐雨晴丶拱兴博和伍兆基，及博士毕业生郭凯羚，得奖项目为「CarbonSmart：使用openBIM丶openGIS和区块链在整个施工生命周期中进行基于知识图谱的自动化碳评估和追踪」。奖项于2024年10月3日在摩洛哥马拉喀什举行的bSI高峰会暨CIB W78会议的晚宴上颁发。
今年，主办机构bSI收到超过160个来自世界各地大学及机构的提案，筛选出22支入围队伍，最后有9支队伍在各自的专项组别获颁大奖。香港取得破纪录的佳绩，包括有五支队伍入围，其中三支队伍（香港科技大学丶协兴工程有限公司及香港政府机电工程署）获颁大奖。
