Prof. Chen Hao became one of the 12 inaugural Asian Young Scientist Fellows selected from a large group of highly competitive nominees in Asian region.

The HKUST Robotics Team took home eight medals in their first participation in the RoboGames, an annual robot contest in California, US that draws contestants from all over the world. This is the first time for the team members to join an international competition face-to-face after the pandemic.
The HKUST ROV Team won their 11th championship in the Hong Kong Regional Contest of the MATE International ROV Competition since they joined in 2011. They will compete in the international competition in the US this June.
Prof. Zhang Limin (left) was presented with the Ralph B. Peck Award at the ASCE Geo-Congress in Los Angeles, California in March 2023. The award is among the top international accolades in the geotechnical engineering area.
