科大前教授任世银首席经济学家
就传媒查询，获委任为世界银行高级副行长兼首席经济学家林毅夫教授，任教于香港科技大学时的详情，科大发言人表示，林毅夫教授于1995年加盟科大，任经济学系教授，并兼任北京大学中国经济研究中心主任。2005年6月，林教授离开科大，返回北京，全职担任北京大学中国经济研究中心主任。林教授在科大做教研工作近十年，研究领域包括中国经济、发展经济学、农业经济及经济史等。 科大校长朱经武教授对林毅夫教授获此委任感到高兴，他表示，「科大的人才，能够为香港、国家以至世界作出更巨大的贡献，实在是科大莫大的光荣。」 科大商学院院长郑国汉教授表示，林教授在发展经济学领域的研究卓有成就，对中国经济成功发展认识深厚，他出任世银首席经济学家，不仅可以丰富世银的发展和研究理念，也可为发展中国家提供宝贵的参考经验。」 与林毅夫教授于科大共事多年的科大经济发展研究中心主任雷鼎鸣教授表示，「经济学家能够将自己的理念和研究，付诸政策，十分难能可贵，林教授在世银这个平台，一定可以一展不凡的学术功力及才华。」 传 媒 查 询 ： 陆锦荣 Tel: 2358 6306 Email: kluk@ust.hk
