科大前教授任世銀首席經濟學家
就傳媒查詢，獲委任為世界銀行高級副行長兼首席經濟學家林毅夫教授，任教於香港科技大學時的詳情，科大發言人表示，林毅夫教授於1995年加盟科大，任經濟學系教授，並兼任北京大學中國經濟研究中心主任。2005年6月，林教授離開科大，返回北京，全職擔任北京大學中國經濟研究中心主任。林教授在科大做教研工作近十年，研究領域包括中國經濟、發展經濟學、農業經濟及經濟史等。 科大校長朱經武教授對林毅夫教授獲此委任感到高興，他表示，「科大的人才，能夠為香港、國家以至世界作出更巨大的貢獻，實在是科大莫大的光榮。」 科大商學院院長鄭國漢教授表示，林教授在發展經濟學領域的研究卓有成就，對中國經濟成功發展認識深厚，他出任世銀首席經濟學家，不僅可以豐富世銀的發展和研究理念，也可為發展中國家提供寶貴的參考經驗。」 與林毅夫教授於科大共事多年的科大經濟發展研究中心主任雷鼎鳴教授表示，「經濟學家能夠將自己的理念和研究，付諸政策，十分難能可貴，林教授在世銀這個平台，一定可以一展不凡的學術功力及才華。」 傳 媒 查 詢 ： 陸錦榮 Tel: 2358 6306 Email: kluk@ust.hk
