穆樂思教授榮獲2023年IEEE通訊學會無線通訊技術委員會表彰獎
香港科技大學（科大）電子及計算機工程學系講座教授穆樂思教授獲電機電子工程師學會通訊學會（IEEE Communications Society）嘉許，榮獲2023年無線通訊技術委員會表彰獎（Wireless Communications Technical Committee Recognition Award）。
表彰獎是無線通訊技術委員會的重要殊榮，旨在表揚在無線與移動通訊理論、系統和網絡具有高度知名度和貢獻良多的人士，每年的得獎人不多於兩位。此獎項譽滿國際，歷屆得主還有同系的講座教授李德富（2011年）及客席教授莊哲義（2005年）。
穆教授是電機電子工程師學會（IEEE）、國際工程技術學會（IET）、香港工程師學會（HKIE）和香港工程科學院（HKAES）的院士。他於2009年至2015年任電子及計算機工程學系系主任，現為科大教務會的研究委員會主席。
穆教授以研究多天線技術而聞名，包括多用戶多輸入多輸出系統、精簡型多埠天線和多埠能量採集。目前的研究重點是創造新的射頻波技術，包括射頻成像、環境射頻系統、能量採集、電磁資訊理論、6G、物聯網、多埠天線系統和可重構智慧表面。穆教授的獨特專長在於其能結合無線通訊系統和電磁學的知識，並就此兩大領域發表過多篇論文。其中，於《IEEE天線與傳播學報》和《IEEE無線通訊學報》發表的論文多達百餘篇。穆教授的研究貢獻共計三百多篇論文和二十多項專利。他對教學同樣熱衷，至今已成功指導了五十多名研究生，並五度獲授教學獎表揚。
穆樂思教授曾擔任《IEEE無線通訊學報》的領域編輯、副編輯和出版編輯，並為兩屆IEEE無線通訊與網絡會議（IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference）擔任技術項目主席。
