穆乐思教授荣获2023年IEEE通讯学会无线通讯技术委员会表彰奖
香港科技大学（科大）电子及计算机工程学系讲座教授穆乐思教授获电机电子工程师学会通讯学会（IEEE Communications Society）嘉许，荣获2023年无线通讯技术委员会表彰奖（Wireless Communications Technical Committee Recognition Award）。
表彰奖是无线通信技术委员会的重要殊荣，旨在表彰在无线与移动通讯理论、系统和网络具有高度知名度和贡献良多的人士，每年的得奖人不多于两位。 此奖项誉满国际，历届得主还有同系的讲座教授李德富（2011年）及客席教授庄哲义（2005年）。
穆教授是电机电子工程师学会（IEEE）、国际工程技术学会（IET）、香港工程师学会（HKIE）和香港工程科学院（HKAES）的院士。 他于2009年至2015年任电子及计算机工程学系系主任，现为科大教务会的研究委员会主席。
穆教授以研究多天线技术而闻名，包括多用户多输入多输出系统、精简型多埠天线和多端口能量采集。 目前的研究重点是创造新的射频波技术，包括射频成像、环境射频系统、能量采集、电磁信息理论、6G、物联网、多端口天线系统和可重构智能表面。 穆教授的独特专长在于其能结合无线通讯系统和电磁学的知识，并就此两大领域发表过多篇论文。 其中，于《IEEE天线与传播学报》和《IEEE无线通讯学报》发表的论文多达百余篇。 穆教授的研究贡献共计三百多篇论文和二十多项专利。 他对教学同样热衷，至今已成功指导了五十多名研究生，并五度获授教学奖表扬。
穆乐思教授曾担任《IEEE无线通讯学报》的领域编辑、副编辑和出版编辑，并为两届IEEE无线通讯与网络会议（IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference）担任技术项目主席。
