科大工學院連續12年蟬聯全港第一
英國《泰晤士高等教育》昨日公布2023年世界大學學科排名，香港科技大學繼續於工程及計算機科學兩個學科穩佔全港首位。
在工程學科排名，科大躍升兩位至全球第26位，連續12年榮膺全港之冠，並保持亞洲第五位。工程學科排名由五項分科組成：通用工程、電機與電子工程、機械與航空航天工程、土木工程和化學工程。
在計算機科學學科排名，科大居於全球第29位，連續七年蟬聯香港首位。
學科排名採用13項與《泰晤士高等教育》世界大學排名相同的績效指標，分為五個領域，分別是教學（學習環境），研究（發表量、收入和聲譽），引文（研究影響力），國際展望（國際教師、學生和國際合著）和行業收入（知識轉移）。
排名結果肯定了工學院在教學和研究方面的卓越表現，以及教研人員和學生的成就。學院將繼續履行使命，為學生提供優質教育，並通過研究的突破和創新拓展學院在全球的影響力。
