科大工学院连续12年蝉联全港第一
英国《泰晤士高等教育》昨日公布2023年世界大学学科排名，香港科技大学继续於工程及计算机科学两个学科稳占全港首位。
在工程学科排名，科大跃升两位至全球第26位，连续12年荣膺全港之冠，并保持亚洲第五位。工程学科排名由五项分科组成：通用工程丶电机与电子工程丶机械与航空航天工程丶土木工程和化学工程。
在计算机科学学科排名，科大居於全球第29位，连续七年蝉联香港首位。
学科排名采用13项与《泰晤士高等教育》世界大学排名相同的绩效指标，分为五个领域，分别是教学（学习环境），研究（发表量丶收入和声誉），引文（研究影响力），国际展望（国际教师丶学生和国际合着）和行业收入（知识转移）。
排名结果肯定了工学院在教学和研究方面的卓越表现，以及教研人员和学生的成就。学院将继续履行使命，为学生提供优质教育，并通过研究的突破和创新拓展学院在全球的影响力。
