科大喜迎香港青年工业家协会到访
香港青年工业家协会于六月十一日由其基金会会长许亮华先生、协会副会长张益麟先生及陈伟聪先生率领下一行十八人到访香港科技大学；此行他们出席由署理校长史维教授及副校长(大学拓展)林文怡教授设置的欢迎午宴，了解有关工学院、人工智能、工业4.0以及综合系统与设计之最新发展，并参观机器人研究所。当日大学除了安排逾十名教授与工业家交流外，并邀得校董会成员暨大学拓展委员会副主席廖家俊教授介绍「创新及科技基金」下的资助计划，藉以鼓励工业家与科大进一步合作。
席上史维教授表示，科大重视与工业家合作并期待将来会有更紧密的联繫，共同努力為业界培养人才及推动科研工作；亦希望工业界能為学生提供更多的实习机会。
