Civil Engineering PhD students Gong Xingbo (left) and Xu Yuqing (center) in Prof. Jack Cheng’s team received the grand award in the Student Research Category of buildingSMART International openBIM Awards 2024 at the banquet of buildingSMART International Summit cum CIB W78 Conference.
An awards presentation ceremony for the “9th China Mobile Maker Marathon Competition (Hong Kong Region)” and the “4th China Mobile Wutong Cup Big Data Innovation Competition (Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Region)” was held at Hong Kong Science Park on November 25, 2024.
The “HKUST-ExxonMobil iSTEAM Program 2024 – Smartbot Sports Day” drew around 150 students and teachers from 15 primary and secondary schools to experience and learn about STEAM, collaboration and leadership.
