陈凯教授获选2023年国际计算机学会杰出会员
香港科技大学（科大）计算机科学及工程学系陈凯教授获国际计算机学会（Association for Computing Machinery，简称ACM）选为2023年「杰出会员」，以表扬他在数据中心网络的设计和实现的卓越贡献。本届全球共有52人获选，陈凯教授是当中九位的华人学者之一。ACM杰出会员由同侪评选，获选者均推动了计算机科学的发展，促进各个领域的创新，并为计算机科学教育作出了重要的贡献。
陈凯教授的研究范畴涵盖数据中心网络、机器学习系统及具隐私保护的计算。在科大，他同时担任智能网络和系统实验室（iSING Lab）及微信 – 香港科技大学人工智能联合实验室（WHAT Lab）的主任。
ACM创立于1947年，是全球计算机领域影响力最大的专业学术组织。ACM杰出会员人数占ACM全球会员总人数不多于10%，评选准则包括专业经验以及在计算领域的成就。获选者均在领域内取得了显著的成就或产生了显著的影响。
