陳凱教授獲選2023年國際計算機學會傑出會員
香港科技大學（科大）計算機科學及工程學系陳凱教授獲國際計算機學會（Association for Computing Machinery，簡稱ACM）選為2023年「傑出會員」，以表揚他在數據中心網絡的設計和實現的卓越貢獻。本屆全球共有52人獲選，陳凱教授是當中九位的華人學者之一。ACM傑出會員由同儕評選，獲選者均推動了計算機科學的發展，促進各個領域的創新，並為計算機科學教育作出了重要的貢獻。
陳凱教授的研究範疇涵蓋數據中心網絡、機器學習系統及具隱私保護的計算。在科大，他同時擔任智能網絡和系統實驗室（iSING Lab）及微信 – 香港科技大學人工智能聯合實驗室（WHAT Lab）的主任。
ACM創立於1947年，是全球計算機領域影響力最大的專業學術組織。ACM傑出會員人數佔ACM全球會員總人數不多於10%，評選準則包括專業經驗以及在計算領域的成就。獲選者均在領域內取得了顯著的成就或產生了顯著的影響。
