The “HKUST-ExxonMobil iSTEAM Program 2024 – Smartbot Sports Day” drew around 150 students and teachers from 15 primary and secondary schools to experience and learn about STEAM, collaboration and leadership.
The robotic coffee machine was officially unveiled today by senior management of HKUST School of Engineering and Pacific Coffee Company Limited: Prof. Hong K. A group of 15 students from the HKUST Robotics Team and the HKUST STEAM Tutor Team won 15 medals in RoboGames 2024, nearly doubling their medal count of eight medals last year.
The HKUST ROV Team won their 12th straight championship in the Hong Kong Regional Contest of the MATE International ROV Competition since they joined in 2011. They will head for the international competition in the US this June.
