The HKUST Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Team, which consists of 15 engineering undergraduates, won championship in the 12th Hong Kong Regional of the MATE International ROV Competition and will represent Hong Kong to take part in the MATE International ROV Competition 2017 in Long Beach, California, US on June 23-25.

Four leading faculty members of the School of Engineering were recognized with prestigious named professorships at HKUST’s fourth inauguration ceremony for such honors today. They were among a group of 15 outstanding academics across the University to receive named professorships.
