呼吸清新叢林空氣
科大生研發可抵抗空調綜合症的空氣淨化器，為室內注入新鮮叢林空氣。
空調對辦公室員工來說無疑是一項偉大發明，但亦會帶來令人困擾的副作用。在日常的一天，空調辦公室內的二氧化碳逐漸累積，氧氣含量下降，令員工難以集中工作，容易感到疲倦和精神緊張。
有見空調對人體的害處，張迪（哲學博士, 生物工程學, 2014）和NeoForest 的創始成員，研發出光合作用效率相當於40平方米森林的空氣淨化器，以微藻代替過濾網淨化室內空氣。微藻透過光合作用釋出氧氣，吸收二氧化碳，並清除多種空氣污染物。
作為來自中國的研究生，張博士和她的團隊看到產品在國內市場的發展潛力。張博士表示：「2015年中國空氣淨化器的市場規模約為130億元人民幣，而目前市場上還未出現像NeoForest般效能的產品，這給了我們獨特的優勢和巨大的發展空間。」
通過科大100萬元創業計劃大賽，張博士的團隊接觸到了許多潛在的合作者，有興趣將他們的設計商品化。目前，團隊已向企業提供定製產品，預計NeoForest可在2018年之前推出市面。在不久將來，普羅大眾都可享受清新的叢林氣息。
NeoForest在6月舉行的科大第六屆100萬元創業計劃大賽，以及其後的廣州南沙全國總決賽中兩度勇奪亞軍殊榮。
