The "MAP" developed by Prof Ming Fang and Chak Chan (CENG) has been selected by the HKIE to be included in their Engineering Archive as an effort to raise public awareness on the contributions and achievements that HK engineers have made to the society

The MAP (Mobile real-time Air-monitoring Platform), a vehicle developed by Prof Ming Fang and Chak Chan (CENG), which makes air quality measurements in real time as it travels, has been selected by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) to be included in their Engineering Archive as an effort to raise public awareness on the contributions and achievements that Hong Kong engineers have made to the society. MAP is a project funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club and it is a new concept to obtain high intensity and continuous air quality data from a moving platform.
