Prof Kenny C S Kwok and PG student Mr Raymond Leung (CIEM program graduate) of Civil Engineering department, and Owen L F YUE Won Best Paper Award in Sixth China Urban Housing Conference Bejing, China

A paper on "Air Ventilation Assessment for High Density Residential Development", co-authored by Raymond Leung, Kenny C S Kwok, and Owen L F YUE has won the Best Paper Award, among a total of 260 submitted papers, in The Sixth China Urban Housing Conference, BeIjing, China (26-28 March 2007). It is worthy to note that the paper is based on the project work of the first author, Mr. Leung, who was a recent graduate from our CIEM program. This clearly demonstrates that a highly motivated MS student, with supervision from a caring faculty, could produce award-winning research work.
