A-SSCC/ISCC Student Design Contest Award 2007
Shuzuo LOU, a PhD student under supervision of Prof. Howard Luong, has won an A-SSCC/ISSCC Student Design Contest Award from the IEEE Asian Solid-State Circuits Conference (A-SSCC) 2007 held in Jeju, Korea, on 12 - 14 November, 2007. His paper and demonstration will also be presented at the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference 2008 (ISSCC / Chip Olympics) in San Francisco in February 2008.
The contest was particularly challenging due to the unique requirement of having an on-site demonstration of working chips. The award is recognition of the technological achievement in IC Design in the Department.
A-SSCC is one of the four international conferences sponsored by IEEE for the exchange of information regarding research and development in Solid-State Circuits and its related fields, which brings together both researchers and practitioners from diverse fields.
