Prof Jiang Xu Won Best Paper (Second Place) by IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI) 2009
Prof Jiang Xu and his team from the Department of ECE have been awarded the Best Paper – Honorable Mention Award by IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI) 2009 for their paper titled "A Low-power Low-cost Optical Router for Optical Networks-on-Chip in Multiprocessor Systems-on-Chip”. The acceptance rate of ISVLSI '09 is 25%. Their paper presented the current best optical on-chip router for next-generation multiprocessor system-on-chips.
