沈劭劼教授研究團隊奪2024年《IEEE機械人學報》傅京孫最佳論文獎
香港科技大學電子及計算機工程學系沈劭劼教授領導的研究團隊，憑藉他們合著題為「RACER: Rapid Collaborative Exploration with a Decentralized Multi-UAV System」的論文，奪得2024年《IEEE機械人學報》傅京孫最佳論文獎。這個獎項旨在表彰每年在該學報上發表的一篇最佳論文。
沈教授的得獎論文發表於《IEEE機械人學報》2023年6月號（第39卷，第3期，第1816-1835頁）。他們提出了一種透過分散方式提升無人機協作任務表現的革命性框架，稱為RACER系統。
該論文由沈教授和他的兩位前博士生周博宇博士（第一作者）和徐浩博士共同撰寫。周博士於2018至2022年期間修讀博士課程，現任中山大學助理教授；徐博士則是2023年的畢業生。
獎項於IEEE機械人與自動化國際會議上頒發，會議於2024年5月13日至17日在日本橫濱舉行。
在此前，沈教授的研究團隊曾兩度獲得傅京孫最佳論文獎的優異獎，得獎論文為「VINS-Mono: A Robust and Versatile Monocular Visual-Inertial State Estimator」（2018年）及「Teach-Repeat-Replan: A Complete and Robust System for Aggressive Flight in Complex Environments」（2020年）。
