The 9th International T&M Business Plan Competition (TEMG4950N)
The 9th International Technology & Management Business Plan Competition was held on 4 - 13 Jan 2015 at Silicon Valley, California, USA. 18 students from Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management led by faculty members, visited leading innovative companies in USA including eBay/PayPal, Tesla, Google, Uber, Walmart, and Mercedes-Benz to gain insights into new business opportunities made possible by advancements in Automative and Information Communication technologies for the movement of people. Students were offered the chance to work with peers from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, and University of Bayreuth, Germany, to present their business plans to a panel of judges comprised of senior executives and officials from the Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area. This international competition not only broadens the horizons of students, but also enriches them with knowledge of the latest global market development.
