前港督卫奕信勋爵到访科大签订学生交流协议
前香港总督、现任苏格兰阿伯丁大学校监卫奕信勋爵今日（星期三）到访香港科技大学（科大），与科大师生会面，并与科大签订备忘协议，开展两校本科生交流活动。
出席签约仪式的嘉宾包括阿伯丁大学校监卫奕信勋爵、该校校长Prof Duncan Rice。科大署理校长钱大康教授、科大理学院院长郑绍远教授等。
钱大康教授致词时表示，欢迎卫奕信勋爵这位科大老朋友今日重游旧地，一起见证这所当年大家同心同德创立的大学之蜕变，及分享科大取得国际赞赏的成就。
卫奕信勋爵表示，得悉科大在短短十六年间，发展成为一所世界级一流研究型大学，感到欣喜。
今日签订的协议为期三年，正式开展科大理学院及工学院与阿伯丁大学的本科生交流活动。根据协议，两所大学每年挑选两名主修科学及工学的优秀学生到友校就读一个学期，增广学生见闻，扩阔他们的国际视野。
阿伯丁大学简介
