香港科技大学毕业生就业能力全球排行16

香港科技大学(科大)于本年度的全球大学就业能力及排名调查(Global Employability University Survey and Ranking 2014)跃升两级至16名，位列大中华院校之首。此项调查同时于美国«纽约时报»报导。该调查共访问了4,500名来自全球20个国家的招聘与行政人员，包括美国、中国、日本、英国、墨西哥、摩洛哥、西班牙及欧洲其他地区，当中超过一半受访者来自1,000间全球领先的公司。大部分受访者认为，国际化的大学模式将会是大势所趋，各院校应提供学习就业理论和实践并重的环境，以准备学生投身社会。报告亦指出，着重发展科学、科技、工程与数学学科（STEM）的院校排名相对较佳。调查由法国人力资源顾问公司Emerging及德国主要研究机构Trendence合作进行，根据美国«纽约时报»报导，亚洲院校的就业能力排名于雇主眼中不断提升，占本年度首150家学府的五分之一，相比2011年高出两倍。科大于去年的排名为18。科大校长陈繁昌教授对大学排名上升表示欣喜：「对于世界各地的雇主乐于聘用科大毕业生，我感到十分鼓舞。调查结果亦印证了我们全人敎育的成果，致力培育全才，以国际视野应对问题。作为中国最国际化的大学之一，科大的多元学习环境开拓学生的视野，提升能力，让他们身处不同环境与情况都能应对自如。」陈校长续称:「此调查较其他大学排名更具意义，调查结果指出科大毕业生工作表现良好，且受全球公司欢迎。」为加强学生的竞争及就业能力，科大积极与全球250间顶尖学府合作，包括200个交流伙伴，透过交流、实习与义工服务，增加学生的全球经验。科大期望将本科生参与海外交流的比例由现时的四成提升至五成。科大的学生就业中心亦会有策略地协助学生按兴趣作出就业计划、掌握瞬息万变的就业市场及雇主的要求。大学并充分利用企业、专业团体及校友的庞大网络，提升学生的就业能力。 2014年全球大学就业能力调查及排名详情：http://emerging.fr/press_release_en.html。传媒查询:
