香港科技大学毕业生就业能力全球排名跃升至第14位 继续位列大中华院校之首
香港科技大学(科大)于本年度的全球大学就业能力调查及排名(Global Employability University Survey and Ranking 2015) 跃升两级至第14位。科大毕业生就业能力连续三年位列全球首20名，并蝉联大中华院校之首。
调查共访问了4,600名来自全球超过20个国家的招聘与行政人员，报告列举出院校吸引全球雇主的重要因素，包括大学教员质素、研究设施、学术领域的表现、学生国际视野、大学声誉及毕业生经验等。调查由法国人力资源顾问公司Emerging及德国主要研究机构Trendence合作进行，访问来自美国、中国、日本、英国、加拿大、澳洲、巴西、印度及欧洲其他地区的雇主，当中超过一半受访者来自国际企业。
科大校长陈繁昌教授对大学排名上升表示欣喜：「对于科大毕业生成为世界各地雇主罗致的对象，我感到十分鼓舞。调查结果亦印证了我们全人敎育的成果及充分肯定科大学生的质素和能力。调查提及雇主重视毕业生的国际视野，以及大学在教育及研究方面的成就，这正是科大一直努力的目标。 我喜见香港有大学与世界最著名的大学并列，令人鼓舞。」
陈校长续称: 「作为中国最国际化的大学之一，科大的多元学习环境有助开拓学生的视野，提升能力，让他们身处不同环境与情况都能应付自如。我们亦致力鼓励学生勇于创新。」
报告显示，近半数受访者曾经聘用就读大规模开放在线课程(MOOCs)的应征者。科大是亚洲地区首批推出大规模开放在线课程的院校之一。
为加强学生的竞争及就业能力，科大积极与全球250间顶尖学府合作，包括超过200间交流伙伴学府，透过交流、实习与义工服务，加强学生的全球体验。科大亦不断增加本科生到海外交流的学习机会。现时，超过50%科大本科生会到海外交流一个学期或以上。
科大的学生就业中心会协助学生按兴趣作出就业规划、掌握瞬息万变的就业市场及雇主的要求。大学并充分利用其企业、专业团体及校友的庞大网络，提升学生的就业能力。
