Final Year Students from Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering Awarded Varitronix 30th Anniversary Scholarship for Best FYP on Display Technology
ECE Students Chan Chin Pang, Chan Ming Pui, and Li Hon Kwok have won the Varitronix 30th Anniversary Scholarship for the Best FYP on Display Technology for their Final Year Project on "Photo-Aligning Materials and Technology: Physics and Application in Liquid Crystal Devices". Varitronix Limited, one of the leading LCD manufacturers of Hong Kong, has kindly donated a total of HK$150,000 to our Department to establish the Best FYP Award on Display Technology for 5 years from 2008-2012 (HK$30,000 for each year).
