HKUST Engineering Soars in 2012 QS Subject Rankings in Engineering and Technology
The recently announced 2012 QS World University Rankings by Subject for Engineering & Technology have seen HKUST ranked No. 1 in Greater China in three subjects (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering) and No. 1 in Hong Kong in one subject (Mechanical Engineering) across the total five subjects that are covered in the rankings. The University is the best performing university locally, with all the 5 subjects ranked in the world’s top 20. Our position in each subject has also demonstrated an impressive jump from last year.
