吴宏伟教授荣获加拿大岩土工程学会R.M. Quigley奖
中电控股可持续发展学教授丶土木及环境工程学系讲座教授兼香港科技大学霍英东研究生院院长吴宏伟教授，荣获由加拿大岩土工程学会颁发的R.M. Quigley奖。该奖每年颁发予过去一年在《加拿大岩土工程期刊》上发表的最佳论文。吴教授的得奖论文题为「Investigation of Boulder Impact Force and Energy Transfer for Steel Baffle with Footing」，在143篇于2023年在该期刊上发表的论文中脱颖而出。
此奖项以加拿大着名岩土工程师Bob Quigley的名字命名，他也是地球环境工程学科的创始学者之一。
