科大颁发2020及2021年长期服务奖
香港科技大学(科大)两年来首次举办教职员长期服务奖颁奖典礼，以表扬服务大学逾20年的教职员及非教学人员的贡献。
科大於2010年首设长期服务奖，向长期竭诚服务的教职员与非教学人员表达谢意，肯定他们的贡献之馀，亦期望建立科大社群对大学的归属感。2020年颁奖礼因应疫情延期一年，故本年度的颁奖礼同时表扬2020及2021年的得奖者。
科大於典礼上分别向209位得奖者颁发30年及20年长期服务奖，当中包括149名30年期奖得主及60名20年期奖得主。
典礼首度於大学最新揭幕的艺文及创意地标 - 逸夫演艺中心举行，科大校长史维教授与其他大学管理层一同出席，与得奖者家属和亲友一同分享喜悦。
主礼嘉宾史维教授於致辞时表示：「适逢科大今年叁十周年校庆，我非常荣幸能藉此机会表扬一众尽心尽力的同事。是他们多年来的付出，让科大得以发展成为一所力求创新、世界知名的国际大学。我希望同仁们能继续努力耕耘、展现韧力，并抱持有志者事竟成的精神，在各自的界别发挥更大影响力。」
