沈劭劼教授研究团队获颁《IEEE机械人与自动化快报》最佳论文奖
香港科技大学电子及计算机工程学系沈劭劼教授及其研究团队成员撰写的论文，荣获2023年《IEEE机械人与自动化快报》最佳论文奖。
他们的论文由《IEEE机械人与自动化快报》编辑委员会从 2023 年在快报上发表的 1,200 多篇论文中选出，成为该奖项的五个获奖团队之一。
论文题为「H2-Mapping: Real-Time Dense Mapping Using Hierarchical Hybrid Representation」，由沈教授和他的博士生蒋辰星（第一作者）丶刘佩泽和余泽寰，以及前博士生周博宇博士（现任中山大学助理教授）及中山大学的研究人员合着。
该论文发表於 2023 年 10 月，它提出了一个基於神经辐射场的机械人实时密集映射框架，名为 H2-Mapping。H2-Mapping采用分层混合展示进行场景建模，并采用覆盖最大化策略进行关键影格选择，显着提高边缘装置上的映射准确度和实时效率。
该奖项於 2024 年 5 月 13 日至 17 日在日本横滨举行的 IEEE机械人与自动化国际会议上颁发。
除这个奖项外，沈教授及其部分团队成员也於会议上获颁《IEEE 机械人学报》傅京孙最佳论文奖。
