博士生皮仁杰入选2024年人工智能及机器学习领域苹果学者名单
计算机科学及工程学系哲学博士生皮仁杰，获选为2024年全球21位人工智能及机器学习领域苹果学者之一。入选者当中，只有三位来自亚洲学府，皮氏更是唯一一位来自香港院校的代表。
一年一度的「人工智能及机器学习领域苹果学者」博士奖学金旨在表扬学位和研究院程度的计算机科学及工程学研究人员的贡献。每位学者在攻读博士学位时都会获得资助丶实习机会，以及由苹果公司同领域的研究员提供指导。评选准则包括候选人的创新研究丶领导力及协作能力，以及对发展各自研究领域的承担。
皮仁杰的两位指导老师分别为学系系主任周晓方教授，以及学系前教授张潼。他的研究重点是以数据为中心的人工智能方法，包括提升数据质量丶减少数据冗馀和自动生成训练数据的方法。目前，他正在研究围绕大型语言模型丶多模态学习和数据生成的交叉领域。
