重大喜讯｜我校2023年起招收港澳台本科学生
今年6月，国务院颁布的《广州南沙深化面向世界的粤港澳全面合作总体方案》指出，要稳步推进粤港澳教育合作。“完善在南沙设立的大学对港澳考生招生机制，参考中山大学、暨南大学自主招生方式，进一步拓宽港澳籍学生入学渠道”。
经国家教育部同意，香港科技大学（广州）自2023年起招收港澳台本科学生。
根据相关文件，我校可通过普通高校联合招收华侨港澳台学生考试招收港澳台学生（简称联招考试）。具体招生要求将以获得国家相关主管部门批准、且向社会公布的招生简章为准。
我校是《粤港澳大湾区发展规划纲要》及《广州南沙深化面向世界的粤港澳全面合作总体方案》颁布实施以来成立的首家具有独立法人资格的内地与香港合作举办大学。
根据国家教育部于今年6月批准香港科技大学（广州）正式设立的文件，学校开展本科和硕博士层次教育，按照国家统一招生政策规定招收本科生，依照香港科技大学（广州）及香港科技大学的毕业要求，颁发香港科技大学（广州）毕业证书、学士学位证书及香港科技大学学士学位证书，依据有关规定及学校的毕业要求实施香港科技大学硕士学位和博士学位教育，颁发香港科技大学硕士学位和博士学位证书。
我校首批开设人工智能、数据科学与大数据技术、智能制造工程等三个本科专业，将于2023年开始招生。
