Minister of National Health Commission Meets HKUST Delegation (Chinese Version Only)
3月12日，國家衛生健康委員會主任雷海潮在北京會見香港科技大學（港科大）校董會主席沈向洋、校長葉玉如一行，就國家衛生健康領域的人才培養、科研創新及成果轉化等進行深入探討。
雷海潮主任在座談會中充分肯定了香港科技大學在人才培養、科技創新、成果轉化及國際合作等方面取得的突出成績。 他表示，希望港科大發揮自身在教育、科研及國際化方面的優勢，一方面加快推進醫學教育的創新發展，探索學科交叉融合，培養面向未來的高層次複合型人才; 另一方面加快科技創新步伐，推動高水平科研成果在臨床上的轉化與應用，裨益社會。 同時，他還期待港科大利用國際化的資源和優勢，為國家培養更多具有國際視野和國際治理能力的國際化人才，為全球健康事業貢獻中國智慧和力量。
沈向洋主席和葉玉如校長對國家衛生健康委員會的支持表示衷心感謝，並表示，港科大將全面加快醫學院建設步伐，持續致力於探索醫學教育的新模式，推動醫學科技領域的新突破，積極響應「健康中國」戰略，為國家醫學事業的發展和社會健康水平的提升貢獻更多力量。
