全国政协副主席梁振英一行到访我校
今日上午，全国政协副主席、香港特别行政区前行政长官、广州南沙粤港合作咨询委员会顾问梁振英先生到访我校，参观了学校的一期校园，并重点调研了学生宿舍、体育馆、海陆空创客空间、红鸟学创大教室、校园大脑、行政楼等教研、办公和生活场所。广东省政协副秘书长巴宇和南沙区相关领导陪同访问。
倪明选校长向梁振英先生介绍了一期校园的整体建设布局、功能及设计理念，以及学校所处的南沙庆盛枢纽的区位优势和配套设施。梁振英先生表示，他一直以来都非常关心香港科技大学（广州）的筹建与发展，很高兴此次来到校园参访，亲眼看到学校已从概念变成现实。港科大是一个很好的研究型和教学型大学，而港科大（广州）落户南沙，如虎添翼，可以拉动粤港及整个大湾区在科研和科研成果转化方面的合作。
梁振英先生还在海陆空创客空间和红鸟学创大教室听取了吴景深副校长关于学校育人理念和培养模式的详细介绍，对我校发展融合学科表示寄予厚望，他表示希望我校培养更多具有国际视野和家国情怀的高端创新人才。
