Over 130 participants joined the Online Video Editing Workshop

HKUST Entrepreneurship Center held an online Video Editing Workshop on 20 March, 2020 which attracted overwhelming responses from more than 130 participants.

The workshop provided basic techniques of editing principles and introduction to a video editing software, Adobe Premiere Rush. Participants could get their hands dirty to compile a short video using filmed footages as trial practices, from screening clips to applying special effects.

The instructor of the workshop, Dr. Jasper van Holsteijn, was a qualified facilitator trained from the Teaching and Learning Studio from the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.School) at Stanford University. He has a PhD in Comparative Literature (Film Studies).

If you could not join the first workshop, here is your second chance! The online workshop will be re-run on 3 Apr. For details, check it out here: https://www.ec.ust.hk/node/1776
