Alumni Kaleidoscope: Victor Ruiz Sanchez - Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA

Victor is a technology entrepreneur based in both Hong Kong and Europe.  He has extensive global exposure having lived and worked in Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.  After 16 years delivering growth as a corporate entrepreneur commercialising technology and services for Fortune 500 US and European corporations, Victor co-founded actiMirror in 2014.

 

actiMirror is the Global AI-powered Smart Mirror Authority delivering Real-Time Personalized Consumer Experiences and Data Analytics Insights under two different brands:

  • actiMirror.com - the B2B brand where offline interactive experiences meet online e-commerce for Fashion and Beauty Retail
  • thelunna.com - the B2C brand that provides Fitness, Health & Wellness solutions to End-Users, Gyms and Hotels

 

Under Victor’s leadership, actiMirror evolved from a Hong Kong start-up to the World's leading company in its sector in 5 years.  The company is headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Europe and a network of distributors. 

 

Victor has also gained a reputation as a Smart Mirror Authority making him a frequent speaker at industry panels discussing topics such as: how IoT and Digital Transformation help enterprises to Improve Customer Experience; new scalable technologies in IoT; how IoT is combined with Big Data and Machine Machine learning; or technology innovation hubs.


He is trilingual in English, Spanish, and French; gets by in Italian, and is acquainted with Mandarin at humble beginner level.  Victor earned his Executive MBA at the joint program offered by the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Business School at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, ranked Worldwide number one by the Financial Times.
