14 HKUST projects were selected as Top 40 in the FYP+ Supporting Scheme
The FYP+ Supporting Scheme is a charity program organized by Hong Kong X Foundation to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. This year, the Scheme received 175 applications and 40 projects were selected, in which 35% were from HKUST. All selected teams were awarded with HK$20,000 as well as a series of tailor-made startup trainings, including one of the Innonights about starting up a business in Greater Bay Area, which was co-organized with HKUST Entrepreneurship Center. Apart from the trainings, teams were also given opportunity to meet with profound mentors to gain insights from their experience.
