Interview with Ms. Eva Tsang, the Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Awardee for her journey in leading Opal Cosmetics Group into the US-Euro markets
Ms. Eva TSANG Chin-Lam graduated from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at HKUST. She is currently the Executive Director of Opal Cosmetics (HK) Limited and the 2020 Greater Bay Area (GBA) Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Awardee.
When she first joined the Opal Group in her early years, she noticed the huge number of factories and business opportunities in the mainland market and decided to embark on a long-term journey to work in the mainland. Leveraging from her knowledge acquired from HKUST’s chemical engineering, she was able to depict numerous opportunities in the production line, and in combination with her understanding of the frontline needs, she has successfully risen to top management.
In this interview, she has shared her path to success and the capabilities, and attributes that are essential to forging her career. As an entrepreneur, she has transformed herself from an employee to a business partner of the Opal Group and expanded the company into the US-Euro markets. Eva has cited that what contributed to her success was “being proactive and knowing how to seize opportunities.”
