王怡雯教授於全國首屆腦—機接口大會獲授華瑙學者獎—傑出青年獎
香港科技大學（科大）電子及計算機工程學系和化學及生物工程學系副教授王怡雯，於2023年7月3至5日在天津舉行的全國首屆腦—機接口大會上獲授「華瑙學者獎—傑出青年獎」。
王教授「實現了中國首個靈長類植入式腦機接口複雜行為的精準解釋和長期穩定使用」，其貢獻獲獎項表揚。大會共頒發了17項華瑙學者獎，包括兩項終身成就獎、五項卓越學者獎和十項傑出青年獎。
王教授的研究範疇包括腦機接口的神經信息解碼、自適應信號處理、計算神經科學和神經形態工程學。她對腦機接口領域的工程學專業技術貢獻備受國際認可。王教授曾擔任多項領導職務，除了是國際腦機接口學會的理事會成員，也是IEEE醫學與生物學工程學會（EMBS）神經工程學技術委員會主席。她獲授2023年IEEE EMBS傑出服務獎，且自2022年起被委任為IEEE EMBS的傑出講師。她擁有一項美國專利，並撰寫了100多篇經同儕評審的著作。
王教授於2008年獲佛羅里達大學授予電機及計算機工程博士學位，其後加入科大電子及計算機工程學系任副研究員，之後曾在浙江大學任教，於2017年重返科大任助理教授。
首屆腦—機接口大會以「創建美好的腦機互聯產業生態」為主題，旨在促進「政產學研用」整體效能。大會匯聚了全國逾200家大學、科研院所、臨床單位及知名企業的600多名院士專家和業界人士，分享腦機交互領域最新技術和前沿成果，共探發展前景和合作機遇。會上涵蓋多個與腦機接口相關的熱議課題，例如是核心元件、關鍵器件、高端裝備、先進算法、應用場景等。
