技术转移中心带领科大研发团队参加Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology 2019
Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology 2019（SWITCH）于2019年11月11-13日在新加坡博览中心举举行，香港科技大学（科大）技术转移中心带领科大研发团队参展，展示科大尖端技术。
Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology 2019（SWITCH）于2019年11月11-13日在新加坡博览中心举举行，香港科技大学（科大）技术转移中心带领科大研发团队参展，展示科大尖端技术。
SWITCH在2019年与Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 及TECHINNOVATION联手，合力打造一个能够把科学发现与进步转化为能够重新定义生活方式的技术应用。由于SWITCH侧重于制造、城市方案、保健及生物医学、数码服务等技术应用，技术转移中心在展览中展示了16种科大发明，这16种发明共申请了50项专利，内容涵盖生物科技、电子与资讯及通讯科技、智能材料等三大技术范畴。
SWITCH汇聚了环球技术从业员及爱好者，既为科大提供展示研发成果的机会，同时亦让科大研发团队接触准合作伙伴，收集市场意见。在是次展出的16种发明中，尤以滤水系统示范得到广泛关注，SWITCH的主办机构之一——新加坡Intellectual Property Intermediary（IPI）更亲临科大摊位了解该发明，并指派经理跟进这项技术。除滤水系统外，科大室内定位技术也取得与新加坡苹果公司的洽谈机会。
「SWITCH为不同背景的创业家、投资者、研究人员、发明家及专业人士提供一个把技术商业化的平台，促进合作机会，」科大研发团队成员表示：「我认为SWTCH是一个国际展览，它能够吸引有兴趣探索海外技术的人群，很适合展出我们的研发成果。」技术转移中心会继续探索其他推广科大技术的机会，强化技术发展，透过促进技术转移造福社会。
