敢于想象，便能成就更高，造就香港科技大学（科大）在泰晤士高等教育排行榜上荣登世界最佳年轻大学。这亦是第一次，我们位列全球校龄50年以下的大学之首。
科大署理校长史维教授认为大学能够获此佳绩，源于我们拥有定位清晰的科研领域，包括人工智能、数据科学、生命科学、公共政策和可持续发展等。尽管大学资源有限，我们仍能出产大量如阿尔兹海默症和艾滋病毒等具影响力的研究，成绩有目共睹
科大在教学、科研、引文影响力和国际视野方面表现尤其出色。史教授说：「过去十年来，我们一直致力将大学课程发展引向跨学科、高度个性化和以学生为本的方向。」
