周艳光教授当选国际先进材料学会会士
机械及航空航天工程学系周艳光教授於2024年1月当选国际先进材料学会（IAAM）会士。
会士荣衔是该会授予研究人员和科学家的主要荣誉，以表扬他们对先进材料发展的重大贡献和努力。
周教授的研究重点是理解和设计纳米级热传输现象和纳米材料，以应用於能源转换丶储存和管理等广泛范畴。他於2022年获得IAAM青年科学家奖章，并於2021年获得晴朗的心基金会颁发的香港创科研先驱奖。
