「中电控股可持续发展教授席」签署仪式于2016年5月30日举行
香港科技大学（科大）刚于5月30日在校园举行「中电控股可持续发展教授席」签署仪式，中电控股有限公司（中电）的代表包括中电控股首席执行官蓝凌志先生及一眾管理层，而科大校长陈繁昌教授、首席副校长史维教授、副校长（大学拓展）翁以登博士及多位教授一同出席是次签署仪式。
可持续发展是科大的策略性研究领域，「中电控股可持续发展教授席」将专注于气候变化和能源可持续性两个范畴。科大将继续致力推动可持续发展相关领域的崭新研究，以协助保育环境及增进人类福祉。
中电一直支持科大不同范畴的学术研究，于2000年于科大成立香港首个中电风洞实验所。科大感谢中电多年来的慷慨支持，而是次成立的教授席将有助吸引区内及来自世界各地的顶尖学者，或挽留大学内的人才。
中电的代表于签署仪式完毕后随即参观科大中电风洞实验所及能源研究所，并与校长等人一起共进午餐。
