机械人在科大 扮演更重要角色
香港科技大学（科大）工学院今天举行20周年节目巡礼。典礼内容显示，机械人在科大的角色愈形重要。
在科大校长陈繁昌教授及工学院院长李德富教授致词后，一个机械人出现了，并在讲坛上发表讲话。它用11分鐘介绍了工学院最新发展，包括為庆祝20周年而举办的活动。
李德富院长表示：机械人在科大将扮演更重要角色。科大的机械人比赛代表队的人数比去年增加了七成半，并分為四个小队，分别参加四个赛事－全港大专生机械人大赛、遥控水底机械人大赛、智能车大赛，以及NAO机械人大赛。
李德富院长补充说：上周末，科大遥控车小队在香港水底机械人挑战赛中获胜。这队科大学生将代表香港和澳门区於今年六月，远赴美国休士顿美国太空总署，参加遥控车国际大赛。
