沈劭劼教授研究团队夺2024年《IEEE 机械人学报》傅京孙最佳论文奖
香港科技大学电子及计算机工程学系沈劭劼教授领导的研究团队，凭藉他们合着题为「RACER: Rapid Collaborative Exploration with a Decentralized Multi-UAV System」的论文，夺得2024年《IEEE机械人学报》傅京孙最佳论文奖。这个奖项旨在表彰每年在该学报上发表的一篇最佳论文。
沈教授的得奖论文发表於《IEEE机械人学报》2023年6月号（第39卷，第3期，第1816-1835页）。他们提出了一种透过分散方式提升无人机协作任务表现的革命性框架，称为RACER系统。
该论文由沈教授和他的两位前博士生周博宇博士（第一作者）和徐浩博士共同撰写。周博士於2018至2022年期间修读博士课程，现任中山大学助理教授；徐博士则是2023年的毕业生。
奖项於IEEE机械人与自动化国际会议上颁发，会议於2024年5月13日至17日在日本横滨举行。
在此前，沈教授的研究团队曾两度获得傅京孙最佳论文奖的优异奖，得奖论文为「VINS-Mono: A Robust and Versatile Monocular Visual-Inertial State Estimator」（2018年）及「Teach-Repeat-Replan: A Complete and Robust System for Aggressive Flight in Complex Environments」（2020年）。
