Driving its efforts in executive education, HKUST School of Engineering conducted a highly successful two-week executive training program for 32 COMAC executives from late November to early December 2024.
The first “Industry Connects University” biannual forum on digital transformation cum CSE Get-together on October 25 drew 140 industry partners, faculty members, alumni and students. The occasion marked the first event that took place at the newly renovated Engineering Commons after its official opening on October 17.
The “HKUST-ExxonMobil iSTEAM Program 2024 – Smartbot Sports Day” drew around 150 students and teachers from 15 primary and secondary schools to experience and learn about STEAM, collaboration and leadership.

The School of Engineering officially established its first-ever Industry Engagement Committee, comprising a distinguished group of 17 professionals and industry leaders from diverse fields. An inaugural ceremony was held on June 7 to welcome the new members.
