“The Making of an Entrepreneur” Luncheon by Alumni Speakers

Three HKUST alumni entrepreneurs shared their inspirational stories at a luncheon “The Making of an Entrepreneur” hosted by Prof. Jack LAU and Mr. Michael LEE of HKUST Institutional Advancement and Outreach Committee on April 25 at HKUST Business School Central.

The three speakers were Dr. Lydia LEUNG, CEO of Belun Technology; Ms. Irene CHEUNG, Co-Founder of Radica Systems Limited & Managing Director of PopSquare; and Mr. Andreas WIDY, Co-Founder & CEO of Navatics Technology Ltd. They shared their personal experience and innovations which include home screening tools to monitor common chronic diseases, application of artificial intelligence and big data to marketing, and use of underwater robots to advance exploration of the marine world.

Their inspiring stories exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit of Hong Kong which is vital to our city’s future success.
