Enjoyable Reunion in SENG Alumni Happy Hour Gatherings
Two highly-successful SENG alumni happy hour gatherings were organized in March and June respectively, providing wonderful opportunities for graduates to catch up with professors and fellow classmates, learn about the School’s latest news, and share their work development and personal life. The two gatherings catered to different groups for alumni, with the first one held at Hong Kong Science Park for alumni of Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Electronic & Computer Engineering. The second one was held at Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong for alumni from Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Logistics Management, and Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.
In both occasions, alumni were warmly welcomed by our Associate Deans, Department Heads as well as other faculty members. They were enthusiastic about sharing their experiences and recent happenings with their favorite professors, old and new friends. Eventually some found the gatherings too short and lingered on after the events finished. Some also stayed for dinner to continue the joyful reunion after the gathering.
The two events were well-received and more similar activities will be organized in the future.
