科大公共政策論壇 探討香港民主發展路向
香港科技大學(科大)公共政策領導才能培訓課程將於2015年2 月14日舉辦論壇，邀請多名海外及本地著名專家和學者，探討城中熱門議題─香港未來的民主發展路向。
論壇上，美國文理科學院成員及著名選舉制度專家、達特茅斯學院John Wentworth教授John M Carey，將就民主原則及選舉制度發表主題演說。瑞安集團主席及科大校董會前主席羅康瑞博士會主持討論環節，參與討論的嘉賓包括公民黨主席余若薇女士、行政會議非官守議員召集人林煥光議員、科大社會科學部成名教授、立法會主席曾鈺成議員，以及John M Carey教授。
負責籌辦論壇的公共政策領導才能培訓課程總監余珍珠教授表示，論壇為不同界別的持份者提供對話平台，為香港如何落實普選交流看法。
科大公共政策領導才能培訓課程專為高層行政人員和新一代領袖而設，讓他們更好地服務社會。該課程結合科大、牛津及世界各地專業知識的優勢，提供具彈性的主題系列課程及小班研討，更不時舉辦公眾論壇，探討香港面對的種種迫切議題，在短短的一年之內，成績斐然。
