香港科技大學舉行第三屆冠名教授席就職典禮
香港科技大學（科大）舉行第三屆冠名教授席就職典禮，向8位傑出教授頒授冠名教授席及表揚各捐贈者對大學的熱心支持。
科大校長陳繁昌教授在就職典禮上致辭時說：「我衷心感謝各捐贈者慷慨支持，襄助科大設立冠名教授席，表揚傑出教授。冠名教授席有助科大延攬全球頂尖人才，繼續努力不懈追求教研創新，為大學及廣大社會帶來更大禆益。」
陳教授向各冠名教授道賀，並指出：「今屆就職的冠名教授在多個不同領域表現出色，包括科學、工程、商業管理、社會科學及其他範疇等。他們追求教研卓越的熱誠和毅力，將樹立榜樣，啟發學生，並有助大學鞏固其國際知名研究型大學的地位。科大將繼續爭取社會各界支持，不斷提升教研實力，以實踐大學科研卓越的使命。」
贊助冠名教授席的8位捐贈者一直大力支持香港高等教育發展，包括於崇光先生、嘉柏環球集團、艾禮文家族基金、肇豐集團、冼為堅基金有限公司、蘇海文博士和蘇包陪慶女士、騰訊公益慈善基金會及偉倫基金有限公司。
出席就職典禮的主禮嘉賓包括科大校董會副主席查逸超教授、科大校長陳繁昌教授及其他大學高層。捐贈者、企業捐贈者及其代表均親臨典禮，包括竇瑞剛先生、方鏗博士、梁利劍虹女士、冼為堅博士、蘇海文博士、詹康信博士及於崇光先生。
